Citizens for Jeremy Trebas, Republican for Montana House District 25

Thanks for joining my blog about my 2016 campaign for Montana House District 25 in Great Falls, MT.! In this blog I will discuss the progress of the campaign, and iTrebas For Montana House District 25ssues that concern the citizens of the district, and the state.

There are 100 House seats and 50 Senate seats in the Montana legislature, and I am running for a House seat. The number of people in each House district is the total population of Montana at the 2010 census (approximately 1,000,000 people) divided by 100. This means that each House seat represents about 10,000 people of all ages (not just those that vote). About 2,800 will turn out to vote in November in the district.

Maybe you can tell by now that I am sort of a "numbers guy". That's because I am an accountant by trade (a CPA in fact). I like doing analysis that has an effective outcome. I went to school at MSU in Great Falls, and also in Bozeman. I have a degree in accounting, but do varied tasks at my job. At the Great Falls Rescue Mission where I work, I am the controller, which means accountant / human resources / any other various project / research. I love working there, it is tremendously fulfilling and plenty challenging.

I am married (almost 11 years now) to my wife Hannah. We have 3 children, Ryan age 8, Kaylyn age 6, and Aidan age 4 (boy, girl, boy, respectively). To say my wife and I are busy is an understatement, but we balance life and manage as much as possible.

Well, that's probably enough of an introduction for now, look for future posts!
